What is PAS 99?
PAS 99 is a Publicly Available Specification published by BSI for integrating two or more management system standards — such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 22000 — into one common framework built around their shared clause structure, instead of running each as a separate system.
Is PAS 99 an ISO standard?
No. PAS 99 is a BSI specification, not an ISO standard, but it is built directly on the common high-level structure that modern ISO management system standards already share, which is what makes integration possible.
Do I need to be certified to all of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 to use this checklist?
No. PAS 99 integration applies to any two or more management system standards you hold. Most organisations start with two — commonly quality and health & safety, or quality and environmental — and integrate further standards as they add certifications.
How is MSX® different from running SHEQX® on its own?
