Cookie Policy
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website to support functionality, analytics, and preference management.
2. Your Choice
When you first visit this website, a cookie banner asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing in sections 4 and 5 is set unless you choose Accept. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. If you choose Reject, we remove the analytics and advertising cookies already set by this website.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
xgrc_consent remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so the banner does not appear on every page. It lasts 12 months and is always set, because the website needs it to respect your choice.
4. Analytics Cookies (only if you accept)
Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_ cookies, up to 2 years) counts visits and shows which pages are used. Microsoft Clarity (_clck for up to 1 year and _clsk for 1 day) records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and page movement, so we can improve the website. Clarity masks text you type into forms. Without your consent, Google receives only cookieless signals that do not identify you or your device.
5. Advertising and Campaign Cookies (only if you accept)
Google Ads (_gcl cookies, 90 days), Microsoft Advertising (_uetsid for 1 day and _uetvid for up to 13 months), the LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn cookies such as li_sugr, bcookie, lidc and UserMatchHistory, up to 1 year) and the Meta Pixel (_fbp and _fbc, 90 days) measure whether our advertising on Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram leads to enquiries. Without your consent, Google and Microsoft receive only cookieless signals that do not identify you, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Meta Pixel are not loaded at all. Our own xgrc_ cookies (90 days) record the campaign that brought you to the website, such as an ad click identifier or UTM tags, the first page you landed on and the referring website, so that an enquiry you send us can be linked to the campaign that led to it.
6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies means the cookie banner will appear again on each visit.
